  • Loved the scenic view. It was a long two mile like and lots of rock steps. This scenic hike is meant for people that are in shape and have no issues walking. The easy path is well maintained and can b...  read more »
  • My husband and I have been the site hosts for 6 yrs now.  As we end our last season here, I thought I'd write a review of my own. The Cascades are beautiful.  This site has grown exponentially over th...  read more »
  • I went with my mother-in-law, husband and son, did not read the signs well enough took the "scenic" path, which was much more challenging than the straight path.
  • Amazing hike. Take the lower trail on the way up. Take the upper trail on the way down. July and August is the best months for hike. Water is cold but air temperature is warm and therefore creates ideal situation to go under the waterfall.
  • Classic, spectacular hike for VT folks and people in the area. The more challenging but more beautiful path is to the left, the flatter one that's further from the stream is to the right. It can be colder along the way and at the top, so you might want to bring a jacket even if it's warm at the base. Parking is $3 and requires exact change, so bring some singles. Be careful and respectful...nature is beautiful but can be unforgiving!
  • Wonderful walk! A bit challenging, but worth the 4 mile hike! One path is straight uphill, the other is climbing stairs and walking along the creek! I enjoyed every minute of this hike! Use bug spray! Wear good shoes!
  • This was a great hike. It was beautiful. A little crowded but it was Labor Day so that's to be expected. There are two trails going to the Cascades. The Upper Trail is more like a path where the Lower Trail is more rugged. We took the Lower Trail to the falls and Upper back and it was great. We hiked with a 9 month old in a carrier. The Lower Trail may be a bit more difficult for younger kids walking on their own.
  • The hike was a little challenging but the end view well worth it. The entire hike was beautiful! So glad to have experienced it!
