  • If you are planning to play on any of the half dozen courses here warming up on Peter Hays is a wonderful and fun idea, convenient are quick.
  • Closest I'll get to playing Pebble Beach and for $80, unlimited golf for the whole family (including club hire). Not crowded, greens are decent and true.
  • A very casual place to play, the longest hole was 104 yards. Challenging greens and landing areas. It was very interesting to see how much better we did the 5th time through. A break at the Gallery fo...  more »

  • Ripped by a well known golf architect it is not a bad diversion for a quick practice session. Unfortunately off the the mats but it is in reasonable shape. Not a destination in itself but under the right situation & with the right expectations is quite fun if you happen to be in the area.
  • What a fantastic way to improve your short game and play among the most amazing golf courses in the area! This Par 3, 9 hole course is in a park-like setting that is a unique setting that although not your typical golf course since you hit off mats, can not use woods for safety and the farthest hole being 104 yards - remember your improving your short game or in my husband's case helping his wife improve her golf game and strokes =) The Marshall/kiosk attendant was pleasant, helpful and even came out to capture our picture in front of the sign. She gave us a quick lay off the course, let us know where the drinking water and restrooms were located and sent us out with scorecard in hand with added bonus of we could play for as long as we would like to be there. At $30 a person some would say a bit steep bit remembering where you're at (17 Mile Drive) and the extra bonus of all day play - not to bad of a deal! All in all we had a GREAT time! I didn't feel hurried, we laughed, enjoyed the beautiful scenery getting some really amazing photo opportunities and memories. I even hit out of the sand trap 2x with ease I might add and yes I'm still a practicing golfer that's improving her game always. I even managed to hit my ball between two trees and YES, folks with one stroke got it on the green - wahoooo!! I have a witness and no, my husband won't lie for me, we are pretty competitive and I occasionally hoot like an owl when it's his turn LOL. So if your in the area and your wanting to play in the 17 Mile Drive area, heck, why not go out and improve your short game, practice getting out of the sand traps or between trees LOL, capture some amazing, gorgeous, pictures, put a HUGE smile on your face, by laughing a little. Remember you get to go home and say you played here - I certainly did with pictures to prove it! PRO TIP: Be sure to tell the gate you're playing here so they wave the gate fee for 17 Mile Drive but if you pay it's reimbursed at the kiosk.
  • Next to pebble. Great way to warm up and have a little fun too. Staff are always great! Get a hole in one and they'll even send you a certificate!!
  • 9-hole golf course, each par 3. You can catch some great views of the bay on a clear day. All tee-offs are on mats. The courses all wind close to each other, so you can expect a lot of "fore!"s if there are people practicing who aren't too good. Otherwise, it's a very laid back place to practice your short game. The longest hole is just over 100 yards, while the shortest hole is 60-some yards.
