  • Great location but too many live cockroaches. They should be doing better maintaining that. Never fun flinging roaches off yourself and hitting the wall during the night. Also, they should provide more toiletry supplies. No refill on the shampoo or soap over 3 nights was not sufficient.
  • You would be hard pressed to find a leaf out of place this place is so well landscaped. The Bridgewater is pricey but Seaside is reasonable. Love to go there in the off season. We're senior citizens so the 4 hour trip from where we live is comfortable for us. We've already booked for October. We have many happy memories of Litchfield Resort .
  • My family and I stayed at the Shipyard Village of Litchfield by the Sea. We have been guests here for many years. The beaches are not as crowded as Myrtle and we are able to get the same spot every day. The pool is also large enough that it is shared by three separate condo units. There is a bilo grocery across the street from the resort and the staff is always friendly and it's just convenient. The unit we stay it is customer owned so it's cleaned weekly and kept it great shape. Our unit also faces the beach and we see the sun rises every morning. There are restaurants everywhere but we find it about a 15-30 minute drive to fun. Always a great vacation spot.
  • Accommodations are fine. We stayed in a Seaside condo, 1 bedroom, kitchen, and living room. Good TV with DVD player. About a 10min walk to the beach, and accross the parking lot for the best pool area (great for the kids). You can drive your car to Bridgewater and park for beach access, or catch the seasonal shuttle (stops after labor day). The room: Seaside 1 bedroom suite beds were very springy and were actually Full beds (NOT queens as listed on their website). Would say bring your own pillow. Everything else was fine. Deck was screened in. Descent furniture throughout. Clean when we arrived. Appliences were only a couple of years old. Would recommend bringi g your own dish soap and laundry detergent. The resort: Lots to do. The main lobby includes a Starbucks, Webster's grill, indoor pool, game room, racquet ball, spa, and gym. Plenty of walking/biking trails and sidewalks. The beach head is open only to guests and one of the nicer ones I've been to on the strip. The entire area is well kept and beautiful to look at. Also unlimited free DVD rentals from the lobby. Area attractions: Of course Pawley's Island, Brookgreen Guardens and Huntington State Park. Murrell's Inlet and its famous seafood restaurants are only about 8 miles North. There are a few restaurants options along the highway where the resort is located.
  • Had a great stay. The description from their site is spot on. I only wish they had better offerings at the pool snack bar. Not a big deal but we all joked about how much they could have made if they had a full service bar at the pool.
