  • Enjoyed playing this older course. Got to drive through the waste bunkers in the sand from tee box to green and had to cross many roads to get from hole to hole. Throughout the round we found some ver...  more »
  • I honestly wasn't expecting much of this course, but it was a lot of fun to play. Greens had nice speed and rolled true. Lots of meandering through the residential streets but that's nitpicking. Play ...  more »
  • The course is nice, tough play on many holes. It has waste bunkers and traps. You must avoid the sand. My brother is 7 handicap and he was in the sand several times. I avoided most of the sand as my h...  more »

  • One of the best courses I've played in Pawley's Island. These greens were similar to upscale courses in speed and difficulty up north! The tee shots are not overly difficult but challenging. Fairways and rough are good. If you can putt well here you can putt well anywhere. I like everything about this club. Especially the view throughout the 18 holes. On another note. I used my golf buddy GPS and clipped it to the plastic frame on the upper portion of the cart. In New York I've left this GPS on the cart twice in the last two months. And both times the staff returned it to the Pro desk. I called and they said, we have it " come and get it" However, I left it again ( shame on me, i probably deserve to lose it ) on the cart at Founders. This time I wasn't so lucky. I called to see about it only one hour after play. Gone for good. I expected it in NY, but not south in Pawley's Island. The good news. I downloaded the Swing by Swing golf app. I no longer need an expensive GPS gadget. Try the course. You'll like it. Don't bring your GPS
  • Spend 10 more bucks and play somewhere else. Course isn't bad, but you can find a much better course in this area. Yardage is not well marked.
  • I've played this course a couple of times and liked it very much. For those complaining about the course layout and having a difficult time scoring their average need to go play miniature golf. It's a golf course. It's supposed to be challenging. The golf course can't help that you consistently suck and shoot 100s.
  • Awful. Horrible layout. Nothing you can do to stay out of the waste bunkers. Hit a beauty right down the gut and the ball just rolls and rolls til it finds a waste bunker. Will never return
  • Awesome place!
