  • Small winery located right next to St. Julian. It was a beautiful day so we opted for getting a few glasses and sitting outside. The glass of wine ($7+tax) was poured into a tasting glass while althou...  more »

  • Beautiful venue but that's about the only thing I enjoyed. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted by a gentleman behind the counter. We inquired about their event options but he admitted that he was new and wasn't sure of the specifics. He said he'd send someone else over to answer our questions when he had a chance. He then went to cover the register and a woman asked us if she could help get our drinks. She didn't know where to find one of them and then announced that she didn't actually work there. Once someone else, who we later learned did not work there either, helped her find our drinks she offered us crackers out of a tupperwear container behind the counter. She helped a few more guests then once again announced that she did not work there and took off. We were then approached by another woman who attempted to answer our questions about event scheduling but soon admitted that she, also, did not know the specifics. We quickly gave up on Warner vineyards. Not a single person working that day seemed to know what they were doing. They were all very nice people but they gave the impression that they were just a group of friends who broke in and decided to play winery for an afternoon. And from the way they dressed (camouflage jackets, sweatpants etc.) it was hard to tell the staff apart from the patrons. I had never been wine tasting before and had chosen Warner vineyards because it was recommended by a friend. It was certainly one of the most bizarre experiences I've had in a while.
  • We've been to Warner annually for the past 35+ years. Today's experience was the best. Donavon was a wonderful host and salesman. My 83 yr old mother was with us and Donavon treated her with respect and made her laugh. He was not pushy nor did he rush us. Mom said "He was very nice to me and to us. We enjoyed our time in large part due to him." We'll be back next June for another case.
  • Always enjoyed your product and was quite disappointed when I stopped in at 3pm Thursday to find you were closed. Website and automated phone service state winter hours as 12:00-6:00 m-f.
  • Christine was full of adjectives to describe the multitude of wines on offer. $5 for five small pours.
  • Nice friendly, great place, Donavon is very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines
