  • A hidden, well preserved mansion from the turn of last century, with a lot of silk-baron related history. Worth stopping in, exploring, and supporting!
  • Although I've lived in NJ most of my life, I only learned about this castle about 5 years ago and finally took the time to visit. The castle was cheerfully decorated for Christmas, which added to the charm. There are many period furnishings and decorative objects around the castle. The signs provide interesting insight into Mr. Lambert, as well as his family, business and general industrial life during Paterson's heyday. The exterior and the grounds are well maintained, and the interior is nicely preserved.
  • The "castle" itself is a nice little attraction. If you are in the neighborhood and have sometime to spare, it's worthwhile spending half an hour or so. They also host events, We recently went there on a Sunday afternoon to see an Opera which was a wonderful experience.
  • A beautiful wedding factory. My girlfriend and I have visited many times to take photos and the grounds are gorgeous. If you can slip in between weddings to take a peek inside you will not be disappointed. The landscape is only paired by the wonderful castle interior. More than enough parking and easy to find, Lambert Castle will impress you or marry you off in under 15 minutes!
  • Beautiful place, calm and quiet. Great for pictures and photoshoots.
