  • So fun!! It’s unlike any winery I’ve been to. It’s not stuffy AT ALL, more like a party atmosphere. The wines are EXCELLENT  more »
  • Staff was very friendly. Lots of selection and options on wine tasting. Love that the tasting was free (many aren't without a purchase). Very good wines that we'll be seeking out back home. Right off ...  more »
  • We had a great time sampling from the large list of wines. Bartender Justin allowed us to try all wines from high-end list. No payment required.  more »

  • Having been wine club members for years, my husband and I have visited Tobin James several times, and have stayed in the guesthouse when it has been available. You can read all of the other positive reviews but one thing I haven't seen yet is something that is key to Tobin James' success story. Customer service. I have seldom seen a business that understands that if your customers are 100% happy, they will be loyal customers for life. We had the pleasure of visiting Paso Robles again last weekend and stayed at the guesthouse. The rooms are set up with all that you need to be comfortable for your stay, but even then, sometimes things happen unexpectedly and something may not be perfect. Rest assured, there is no gamble in staying at Tobin James; everyone there will bend over backwards to ensure that you have the best possible stay during your time there. My husband and I will be wine club members there for as long as we can tip a glass of wine to our lips! Honestly, thanks so much to all of you at Tobin; you made our weekend the best it could possibly be with your understanding and generosity. We are appreciative beyond words. Cheers!
  • Fantastic customer service and super friendly. I highly recommend visiting them and signing up for the wine club.
  • Tobin James is a must-stop as you tour vineyards in Paso Robles! If you can, search out Ioni at the bar - she is a stellar bartender and will always make sure you have a great time!
  • Since they have the largest wine club in perhaps the world it is no secret that this winery is a gem. Easy drinking wines, great customer service, well priced wines and free shipping in California checks all of the boxes.
  • Good selection of wines and the Wine Stewards are very knowledgeable. When they have suggested pairings it's always on point when we try it at home. Wine is ALWAYS at a good price. Their outdoor area is also beautiful! We were there in November and this month we will be taking our daughter and her new husband as well as our sons. Looking forward to yet another wonderful experience! We 💜 Tobin James
