So this is the first olive tasting I have ever done. Sara poured about 15 different oils and paired them with about 20 different spices presenting the blends and what oils to cook with what foods. Awe...  more »

Pasolivo is one of the premier producers of high quality olive oils and specialty food products in our area. I love their flavor infused oils because they lack the fake, overdone blending I've had fro...  more »

This is a great place to stop for a quick break from wine tasting or when you're just out for a drive. Close to the Far Out wineries, Pasolivo is a cute little country cottage-like place with some inc...  more »

We visited several Olive oil tasting rooms in the area and I have to say the staff here was the most knowledgeable and friendly we found. This was also a one of a kind olive oil, vinegar, spice tasting and pairing experience. They provide a one on one tasting and pair the oils with vinegars and spices so you know what different combinations will taste like in your actual cooking! They have recipes available that they have tested to provide excellent meal and dessert options. I highly recommend you don't miss Pasolivo in your travels to Paso Robles!

Fantastic little place. Delicious oils and herbs, great, generous, thorough tasting with herb and salt pairings. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. Very reasonable pricing and a wonderful club too. Happy to be the newest members!

This place is a seemingly-not-yet-discovered gem! A stop here during your wine tour is well worth your time, and best of all you will be treated to a comprehensive and free olive oil and spices/salts tasting, complete with your own mini packet of freshly baked bread for your dipping enjoyment. The first step to try several flavors of their olive oil, beginning with the purest form and then moving on to flavored oils. But it gets even better, as the next round of tasting is the olive oils with paired with a spice or salt. The olive oils here are of very high caliber and I had a hard time choosing my favorite, but it is between the lemon and the rosemary. The unique seasonings and flavored salts were interesting and tasty. I don't even cook and yet I purchased some of the yummy Herbs de Provence (okay, they got me!).

They sell a lovely variety of olive oils, basic vinegars and seasonings, with free tastings. Their flavored olive oils are unlike the kind I'm used to. Instead of infusions, they have cold pressed oils. It really preserves the fresh bright taste of the herb or citrus they blend in with the olive oil in a remarkable way!

Had a good time here, fortunately visited during the harvest so we got to see them running the olives through the process and taste the oil right there at the processing stage. Once inside had a wonderful time tasting with Susanne who knew her product and food pairings. Stop by on your wine tasting trip you won't be disappointed.
