  • The drive to this winery is beautiful, lush greenery all around, trees coming together over the road. We even saw a deer! Once, at the winery, the property is lovely, with a patio to sip a glass of wi...  more »
  • Go with wine club members to avoid tasting fees and get semi-palatable prices on wine. Wines here are very good but are quite expensive and, though ostensibly Italian-styled, are much "hotter" and hig...  more »
  • We've been to Paso Robles several times, but this was our first visit to Oso Libre. We were just driving by and just happened to pull in and check it out. We were glad we did. The tasting room has a u...  more »

  • Good morning! Yes, we received the last shipment. No we did not do a tasting for several reasons which are: my wife now has a medical problem and cannot drink and I do not drink in front of her, and I try to keep spirits to a minimum with family visiting. I do give the wine to family friends who do a lot for my wife and I and when at their home have a small glass. Better than beer. I have yet to open the bottle of the 'special' veteran blend, but may do that sooner than later with some military friends. When we joined, Oso Libre Winery products were our only bring it home purchase. Thanks.
  • One of my favorite wineries in Paso. The wine is great, Chris and Linda (the owners) are very welcoming, and the hosts pouring for tastings do a great job. If you're looking to plan ahead for a trip, coming on a wine and angus weekend is a must. The owners serve up burgers from estate cattle with estate wine. So good! The wine is maybe a little pricier than some others nearby, but after visiting over 100 wineries in the region, it's priced correctly for the quality. We love breaking out the Oso Libre bottles for dinner parties - it always makes an impression. I'm certainly excited for my next club shipment!
  • The grounds are beautiful and the wine has a lot more character than most. I think a lot of this is due to them aging the bottles quite a bit longer than other wineries. Regardless, they make fantastic stuff.
  • We really enjoy being wine club members at Oso Libre. The wine is fantastic and the people are really great and passionate at what they do. This is definitely a place to stop by if you are in the Paso Robles area.
  • Great tasting vintages with your Carnal as my personal favorite. Looking forward to my next shipment, of course that will be for pick-up. Thank you very much.
