  • I visited last week for the first time in almost 16 years. (Shortly after they opened.) The wines were amazing and the lunch on the patio was a perfect addition. I own a winery in Northern CA, so I am super critical of how tasting rooms roll. Roger was so informed; made us feel VERY special; and the flow of the tastings was quite casual and yet the staff was always aware of those entering so they could welcome them. As I was leaving the winery owner, Dave, offered to carry my case to the car. Quite impressive. Out of all the Paso Robles wineries available, this is a MUST stop. They treat their guests as family.
  • Beautiful venue with food on site. They make a pretty mean wood fired pizza. Opted to try the distillery which was an interesting and unique experience. Personally, not a fan of liquors but was still fun. Wine was solid with lunch.
  • Atmosphere was great for the most part , it was awkward and uncomfortable however when one of the employess scolded a guest for leaving her dog in the car and yelled the F word at her....guest was in shock.. It was really out of control for employee to act this way...i was appaulled and embarressed for her.
  • Read about the winery online and saw decent ratings so we decided to visit. The winery is large and produces a large number of varieties but it seems to lack focus by trying to do too much. We have come in on a Sunday Morning, the winery was quite busy and having pizza on the premises helps the kiddos if you decide to bring them along. You can sit on the "patio" having a slice with a glass or 2 or 3 of wine. Wines though is an entirely different story. When we tasted them they seem bland the minerality was short of decent and the aftertaste faded away rather quickly for all wines including the Zin and Albarino, which I would have expected to be a little more "flavorful" for the lack of the better term. Don't get me wrong the variety is good thing to have but I think that being a "Jack of All Trades" when it comes to wines hurt rather than help. I might keep an eye on the winery but I wouldn't plan to visit any time soon.
  • Ehhh...really big...a ton of people. Average wine, overpriced. Limited parking. I've been to many a huge wine tasting spots... I prefer family owned, low production operations. It is in Paso Robles...which is gorgeous! Don't think I will go back.
