  • In an area where vino is breaking the $ 50/bottle mark fairly regularly now, this is a nice find. They have some really Good wines, very nice staff to help and they also serve some food too ( limited ...  more »
  • Had been to a few other tasting rooms and vineyards in the area, but none topped Opolo for flavor and quality. Joined their club with the desire for more great treats!  more »

  • Ehhh...really big...a ton of people. Average wine, overpriced. Limited parking. I've been to many a huge wine tasting spots... I prefer family owned, low production operations. It is in Paso Robles...which is gorgeous! Don't think I will go back.
  • The wine was very good and Jan the bartender was excellent. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The only reason why I gave the experience 3 stars is because it was very crowded. I think there was an event going on, but we had to stand at the bar, no where to sit and felt a bit simply loud and over crowded rather than the quiet personal atmosphere of most wineries. Overall the wine and service was four stars though.
  • Consistently my favorite winery in Paso! Opolo is the only place in which every wine is good; I've never found a single wine that I don't like. When it comes to Opolo wines, it's either good, great, or WOW! Also, Bevelina is the best!!!! Make sure you say hi!
  • Warm ambience and terrific setting make for a perfect visit plus the wine is superb!
  • While I was in the area a friend asked if I would pick up some wine for them, as I was happy to accomodate them, also learning the other couple we were traveling with we're members I became excited... I went to purchase 8 bottles 4 of the Petite Verdot, and 4 of the Sangiovese, after the members asked to taste the Sangiovese, the winery declined our request. So I decided not to buy. After wine tasting at other vineyards, we tried our luck one more at the wine members request, but once again we were denied to taste the wine we came for. We ended up purchasing 2 of each instead of our original 4 each... I am the type of person that appreciates customer service. Especially while under construction I wish the winery would of been more accomodating. Very disappointing.
