  • What a great way to taste their very good wine. Lounge in comfy seating, order small plates of food, and enjoy the relaxed wine tasting environment. The one downside, but the restriction keeps it "spe...  more »
  • This was the best wine tour that I have experienced. Our tour guide told us about how they get to train and work all the different aspects of the process. It was a personal tour with only my boyfriend...  more »
  • We visited the new tasting room...the view is breathtaking, but we miss the funky old tasting room tucked behind the Victorian farm house. Most important, the wines. Their signature blend, Ancestor, i...  more »

  • What a wonderful experience. Two of our friends recommended a visit to Halter Ranch and we were not disappointed.Katherine gave us a tour of the vineyard and wine making facility explaining in detail each part of the process. The wines were delicious, Kevin the winemaker is clearly making some outstanding wines, with potential for ageing for 10-15 years. We came away with 3 bottles of wine and 3 new friends from our tour. I would highly recommend a visit to this place.
  • Great wines, beautiful facilities, and wonderful people! If you haven't done the winery tour to go visit the Ancestor Tree, it's well worth your time (and perfect for a romantic occasion). The winery also has a few event dinners every year which are spectacular. We've been going for years, and have a wonderful time every time.
  • This is a gem that most people haven't seen. The wine is amazing and different. All estate and it shows. It's a must visit and take the tour, it's one of the most unique one you will ever participate in. In all, be ready to be transported.
  • This place rocks, with its outstanding customer service look and feel. Halter's product are the Crème de la Crème of the Paso Robles region, in our humble view. The wines, are STELLAR GREAT. One of our favorite wine makers, with product that rivals L'Aventure and LeCuvier, both of which are in the clearly top of class in the region. Halter Ranch and the entire team that has hit a grand slam. Join their wine club, and use them for entertaining. You will really enjoy the entire experience. Highly recommended (and no, we do not work for Halter Ranch). LOL :)
  • I had a great experience at Halter Ranch & am very happy with my membership.
