Where to stay in Paso Robles

Historical downtown Paso Robles features numerous upscale bed and breakfasts, while the more affordable national-chain hotels and motels lie to the north where Route 101 intersects with Route 46. For a true wine-country experience, book a room at one of the bed and breakfasts situated in the scenic vineyards south and west of town. Paso Robles remains a popular weekend getaway, so book ahead if you plan to arrive on a Friday.

  • This winery should be your first, last and in the middle choice. Everything is charming perfection here. I could taste the love and attention to detail in each delicious wine. The owners/winemaker Joe and Jenny Barton welcome you like you are the favorite relative. I wanted to move in. Do Not miss this spot!
  • Very cool place to hang out. Large sitting areas both inside and outside, two tasting rooms (one for wines, the other for the distillery), and amazing food! Had the best Reuben ever, and had some great gin and whiskey!
  • Yesterday my wife purchased a $50.00 bottle of wine (Simple Man) following a tasting and was given a $24.00 bottle of white wine (Little Wing). We realized the mistake when we got home and took out the bottle. Not exactly the experience we were looking for.
  • If I visit one place it's here. It fits my style like a good pair of shoes.
