  • Close to the end of the tour, we were introduced to the famous Double Barrel Ale (DBA). At first, we thought that it was probably just another gimmick. Brewing in oak barrels? From UK? Sounds like a p...  read more »
  • 805 is one of my favorite brews, and to have it at the brewery was awesome.. but let me tell you, it's not just about the beer.. the food was terrific, the staff super friendly, and the environment ju...  read more »
  • I've been a fan of Firestone because of one or two beers on tap that ended up being my favorite: the DBA and the Union Jack. This was about ten years ago, and since then they have developed many after...  read more »
  • If you enjoy craft beer, you know Firestone Walker. Definitely worth a stop into the visitor center for a tasting or to pick up some brews to go. FW has probably one of the best barrel aged programs out there so grab yourself some Parabola, Stickee Monkee or Anniversary Ale!
  • Firestone's PIVO is unexcelled in a pilsner. Although this is a hoppy pilsner it has distinction and surely a pilsner taste. I have gotten burnt out on micro breweries and the same ole hoppy beer: put a lot of hoppy taste in it and sell it, it all tastes the same and most of it not very good. PIVO excels in consistent taste and carbonation. Pilsner beers are normally not part of the micro brewery scene so this was a special find. Love this beer.
  • This place has great atmosphere. Ok food and ok beer. The beer to have here is the nitro. Other then that the beers barley very in taste.
  • Great pit stop on your way to or from SLO or SB. Good food and service. Depending on when you visit I would guess it could be crowded but midday it was the perfect pitstop.
  • Tasting room is OK, although kinda pricy for a 2oz pour ($2-$4) from the flagship brewery. Didn't have a chance to do the brewery tour. The tap room looked nice with beers rotating on a conveyer belt above the bar.
