  • If you want a nice quiet place to escape the Hustle of Pasadena Traffic. That and to peruse a nice collection of Oriental Art. Then my friend this is the place to go!  more »

  • Temporarily closed while they do seismic retrofitting of the building and remodeling to add more exhibition space. It will reopen early 2017. The museum is housed in a beautiful building with a large peaceful courtyard and has an interesting selection of art and works from various Asian countries and also has many programs and events. Worth checking out
  • I've visited twice so far. It is peaceful, few people, nice main collection of wooden statues and their book reading room is awesome because they have cultural clothing one can wear and take fun pictures with. Their center court is beautiful, with a mini koi pond and several stone statues. The epic clothing in the gift shop is all marked down, yet still above an average budget, in my opinion. Will visit again eventually.
  • Must have driven by a million times before I actually stopped. You could loose a day here looking at everything in the museum. However, if looking at beautiful pieces of history is not your groove -go there for the gardens, the quite, and the serenity. This is a wonderful site and museum.
  • very small, very nice. i liked they had a little modern art as well. the courtyard is pretty and nice to hang out in.
  • A quaint Asian museum in the heart of old Pasadena. The general admission is free for the permanent exhibits but there is a fee for other art galleries. The PAM is a small museum with a tiny garden and a pond filled with koi fishes.
