  • This is a lovely park near the Armand Bayou nature center. The nature center park closed before 6 and so i got to find this park which was just a mile away and was a hidden treasure.

  • We drove down from the Atascocita area and it took about 45 minutes on Beltway 8. We went on Sunday that they were offering free admission. There were plenty of volunteers providing information about the interpretive areas that are on the grounds. We took one of the longer trails and while it was very natural and not covered with crushed rock it was well maintained and easy to follow. It's a great place to see what the Houston area used to look like in its beginning.
  • Explore away many things to see and do. Have great programs for children and adults. They have events all the time.
  • Very quiet and so much wildlife to see. We didn't get to go into the Farm house because they close at 4p but rest assured, we'll be the coming weekend to get the tour.
  • Big and small dog parks, duck pond, 3 kids play areas and a wooden walk way to walk over water. Really well maintained park. Officers always patrol but they do set up speed traps often here but I don't mind because it's for everyone's safety
  • Loved my visit. You can find tour guides donating info to kids on the daily. Love the ponds and avian cage.
