  • We went to the firefly night and it didn't disappoint! We saw fireflies, a bard owl, one of the gators, an armadillo, and the bison. And when we finished the walk my son caught a firefly! The guides were great and we learned a lot. We will return again.
  • Fantastic day! We went on the guided canoe tour which includes free admission to the Nature Center. Kevin was our tour guide and he helped us learn so much about the birds, gators and plants we encountered along the way. The Nature Center is a wonderful place to explore ecosystems . There are interactive displays, living farms and multiple hiking options. It was absolutely a well spent day. Advice: go to the nature center first, the canoe trip starts at 2, but it ends after the nature center closes.
  • perfect day ruined by vandalism- make sure an take everything with you as hiding valuables is not enough.. not a safe area.. thieves lurk in parking lot waiting to break into cars.. beware.. other than that nice park too bad they do not have surveillance
  • One of the most valuable parks in the US. I wouldn't say it was the best for long hiking trails, it's more about the wildlife it helps preserve at a key junction of waterways and flyways in the nation's topography.
  • Armand bayou is great space to take the kids out or yourself for a walk to get some fresh air and exercise. There is an amazing array of wildlife and vegetation in the middle of the city. We live nearby and like to visit to get the kids out and active. They love to pick a different trail to explore....
