  • I loved this park when I was a kid. We did the outer loop trail recently. I love the refurbishments at the park and the aviary. I think the trail needs slightly better signs to point people in the rig...  more »

  • Attended the Pasadena Sportsfishing Kids fishing derby and had a wonderful time. BEAUTIFUL park with great staff and a chance to fish in the bay! WONDERFUL!
  • Clean and pretty. I don't have a dog but it was nice seeing they were able to run around the dog beach. People were swimming in the water but there were signs up warning about some dangerous bacteria so be conscious of that.
  • What a great place to bring my dogs for a swim! Very well maintained and easy to access.
  • Great place for a day pout with the family. The paved hiking trails make hiking with our son, who is in a wheelchair, easy. The votes of the bay are wonderful and my daughter loves seeing all of the dogs that visit the park with their owners.
  • Downs Park is a beautiful and majestic park right in the Chesapeake Bay with views of the bridge. They offer fishing, bird watching, trails, a full playground and a nature center. There is a nominal fee to get in per car. Downs Park even offers a private dog beach for your pups to play and frolic in the water. Open year round with pavilions available to rent. It has a stage available to rent as well. This is host to fishing contest as well a Concerts on the Bay, a summer series of concerts. The views of the water are amazing.
