  • We had a great evening on the "hobo campfire" ride. Very affordable, and the kids loved it. This event is a twice-a-year ride from the museum up to a property by an Florida Power and Light facility near Sun City Center. A whole bunch of campfires were set up, and already burning nicely! When we got off the train, we were greeted by a lady with a table full of "hobo bags" - handkerchiefs wrapping up your dinner, which consisted of marshmallows, a hot dog and bun, and condiments for the hot dog. An "old country" band was playing old tunes, and the whole thing was a wonderful way to spend a chilly winter night in Florida!
  • We always have a wonderful time at the museum. We've enjoyed watching it grow and change as we have been bringing our children there (4 & 8) for the last 7 years.
  • We visited Thomas The Train. The kid had a ton of fun. Big smiles for everyone.
  • It was really cool to ride an old diesel train, it sways like a large animal walking, back and forth gently rocking. The clatter of the rail and the steam whistle blowing! My 12 year old enjoyed it and was laughing at the antics of the 'Hole-in -the-head' gang. We will return!
  • Nice place, to much $ for a 10 minute train ride. Got asked to leave because we took photo where they didn't want us to.
