  • My wife and I are a little young for Dallas but we both remember our parents enjoying it. We really enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide (the retired police officer) was very energetic and did a great job...  more »
  • My friend surprised me on our trip to Mount Rushmore with a visit to the Southfork Ranch. We had a longer stay on the flight to rapid city. The surprise more than succeeded. If you like the series, it will like the there. The tour is really nicely done and you have time to explore the ranch. The trip was worth every penny and the taxi ride. We would have been us but better advised to rent a car for the time. Just as a tip if one comes up with the idea to drive a taxi. :-)

  • This place is not a "monument" in the literal sense of the word. is definitely a memory, but for those who watched the 80/90 's best tv series Dallas, with JR and his entire family. Fans aside, it's still a nice place to see. but only from the outside. pay for the guided tour does not make sense.

  • Great location for both company outings and visitors! For the company event that we recently attended, the employees of South Fork Ranch catered lunch for us and it was presented perfectly! We were served delicious tender brisket with tasty BBQ sauce, creamy mashed potatoes, juicy corn, flavorful baked beans, moist corn bread, and sweet peach cobbler! Definitely a hearty Texas meal! There are lots of fun activities for the team and the staff is very attentive and professional. I highly recommend South Fork Ranch!
  • I enjoyed the beauty of the old ranch. It is very well maintained though it is not a working ranch anymore. The tour guides and employees are very welcoming to enthusiastic about their job and the visitors. This place has a lot of good picturesque spots and you are allowed to wall the grounds freely.
  • Dream come true to see the place where the maked the TV serial Dallas.Nice view 180degree.All the people who work here are very friendly and happy. They like to make jokes for everything to make you laugh.
  • If you were old enough to watch tv in the 80's, the Southfork Ranch is a place to visit if you travel in the Dallas area. The Ranch history is pretty interesting (a guide speaking original Texas twang is a must have). Though only the oustide of the Ranch was shot for the TV series you can visit the inside of the ranch with furniture and style inspired by the different characters of the TV programme.
  • It was awesome to see the legendary place. Jockey forever. They even got a hungarian guide of the ranch (unfortunately Google Translate so it wasn't proper but we appreciate the gesture)
