  • This is the place Dallas was filmed. The staff there were very informative and the tour only cost $15 each. Well worth a visit but you'll likely need your own car to get there.
  • If you were old enough to watch tv in the 80's, the Southfork Ranch is a place to visit if you travel in the Dallas area. The Ranch history is pretty interesting (a guide speaking original Texas twang is a must have). Though only the oustide of the Ranch was shot for the TV series you can visit the inside of the ranch with furniture and style inspired by the different characters of the TV programme.
  • I went here with fans of the show. I'm not a fan and was bored. They seemed to enjoy the vist overall, but where obviously a bit disappointed. I recommend doing the self tour. There is very little advantage to the guided tour, if any.
  • It was awesome to see the legendary place. Jockey forever. They even got a hungarian guide of the ranch (unfortunately Google Translate so it wasn't proper but we appreciate the gesture)
  • I watched the show while in high school....when I moved to Dallas..attended a few socials at the ranch. Was so hopeful when they "revised" the show in 2012. My heart broke when Larry Hagman died. The show died with him🐎😢🏡.
  • For Dallas fans or just someone who was familiar with the program it a must place to visit if you're around Dallas. Lovely staff with interesting information about the show at the set. You can take your time and take as many photos as you like, good weather is important when visiting.
