This is an exceptionally nice park with many well situated sites. The visitor center is nice and the staff was very helpful in directing us to things to see and do in the area.
WE LOVE IT HERE!!! THIS IS THE NICEST CAMPGROUNDS IN ARIZONA!! ITS GREEN,,SHADY ,,ITS ON THE RIVER...THE FACILITY S ARE IMMACULATE!! THE STAFF ARE SO FRIENDLY AND INFORMATIVE...WE ARE ONLY 45 MINUTES AWAY IN LAKE HAVASU..WE LOVE THAT WE CAN GET THERE FAST..AND ENJOY THE OUTDOORS THERE..WE COMPARE EVERY CAMPSITE WE GO TO ..TO BUCKSKIN..NOTHING COMPARES TO THIS BEAUTIFUL PARK IN THE DESSERT..AND THEY ARE RENOVATING TO MAKE IT EVEN BETTER! I absolutely love staying here. I have been coming for years. So beautiful. Stores if I've forgotten something. Great food so I can pack light.
Completely awesome place. Hiking trails, river access, beaches and a very nice campground. Stayed 3 nights and it went by too fast. Reservations are not optional - the earlier the better. The greater Parker area has lots to do and a bunch of great restaurants. Park restrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. Minor Negatives - only 1 row of pull-thru campsites. Only a few sites have sewer connections, but there is a dump station. Because of the popularity of this park, I you change your mind and want to stay longer, probably not happening.
Wonderful campground and such a beautiful location! We book every year here now.
Our family spent many summers here from the 60'ss to the 80's I really miss this place. The Park ranger then was Nate.
