  • We did this trail a long time ago, but even now (years later - now we're in our 50s) we enjoyed it. This time we brought our teenage son along. The trail has a good amount of variety in the scenery an...  read more »

  • If you want a day out with family.. This is the place. You can go for walks, ride on the bike trails, bring a dirt bike or 4 wheeler and enjoy the sands.
  • I really liked this state park. Pim lake was crystal clear to about 5', we even saw a rare freshwater jellyfish (it's a thing I promise!). Lots of people had luck fishing here. The camp grounds were immaculate! I recommend staying on the side closest to the Ranger's station, sites16-50 maybe. I stayed at 20 and it was completely private on one side. Bring a tarp along with a cot or inflatable matress because you pitch your tent on gravel which sucked! The main bathrooms had nice hot showers and new washers and dryers. I went by myself and felt completely safe. Also, it's very close to Farmington so if you forgot something you are not s.o.l!
  • Awesome place to ride and take a swim to cool off in between rides. Great staging area, open long hours, and super cheap. Some trails are more challenging than others. My kids have been riding for several years and could navigate but didn't necessarily enjoy the tuff stuff. Also lots of rock to deal with but overall a great destination, huge trail system. Spent 2 days there and didn't come close to navigating all of it.
  • Great pkace to go ride your dirt bike, quad, or other OHV. Good trails from beginner level to intermidiate. 2 lakes with beaches to swim in multiple more to fish in.Good camp grounds with showers, restrooms, laundry, cleaning station for OHV and trails to accesthe riding area. Also has good paved bike/jogging path, good beginner to intermediate MTB trails. Does get crowded o the weekends when weather is nice, website needs improvements if park is closed to public for some reason you have to dig to find it. Been burned twice by this. Also hard to find water adviseries for the lakes.the park has other facilties for use that Ive never used so i cannot comment on them.
  • The park itself isn't good at all. It's small and unattractive. The advertised cars rides are not real-it's faked. You have to bring your own otherwise no rides for you...For instance you are coming from a different state, so wanna have fun-care on your own racing car... Lakes? You will have super tiny gated area to swim - that is all what you can get:( Won't advise anyone to go there, super disappointed ...
  • Amazing place to ride your atv. $5 a day for one of the best riding spots anywhere around, endless trails and sand flats, all kinds of different terrain. Campground and the entire park are very well maintained. Park staff is very friendly. Reasonable prices for everything. Can't beat it. Only problem I would say is the temperature of the showers, it comes close to burning you and is very uncomfortable especially in the summer time. I'd be worried about kids.
