Where to stay in Park City

Most Park City hotels raise room rates significantly during the height of the ski season, so shop for bargains a few months before your trip. If you arrive during the city's world-famous film festival, expect to pay a bundle for rooms well out of town. The easiest way to avoid the crowds and stay economically may be to choose one of the city's bed and breakfasts, which offer comfortable rooms packed with modern amenities and easy access to the area's ski resorts.

  • During our June roundtrip we stayed in park city for a night. We visited the alpine coaster and it was a blast. Why not 5 stars? The price...  more »
  • We ate loads of gnats coming down this mountain at sunset. Advice, keep mouth closed. Brakes work and turns are wild.  more »
  • We decided we didn't have time to do the full coaster ride, so we did one of the other attractions: the Alpine slide. You sit on a "luge" like sled that allows you to control it with a braking handle ...  more »

  • Very fun slide. The tram ride up is peaceful and there are photographers along the way to take a pic you can buy at the top. There's 4 slide options, all of them fun, but the 2 on the far right are the oldest, fastest, and funnest. You do have to roll your cart to the tracks but they're not that heavy.
  • The waiting time he can be quite substantial the problem is when you all waiting you're standing directly out in the sun so be careful if you are bringing small children they have a couple of umbrellas towards the top but you could be standing out in the sun for up to 60 minutes once you are on the ride it takes about 5 minutes to get to the top and then a whole lot faster to get down extreme fun we have done this a couple of times once in the snow and then again in July it was a lot more fun in the snow they say you're not allowed to film or take photos but we had GoPros on our chests and they didn't seem to mind.
  • I remember coming here as a kid and I loved it. I was so looking forward to taking my son here. He was very excited about it as well. It said it was open online, but sadly it was not when we arrived. We were not the only family either. Another family showed up while we were there and said the same thing, that it showed it was open online. Very disappointing.
  • really fun but way to expensive if you are looking for a fun alpine slide and other activities definitely recommend going to The Utah Olympic park over this
  • pretty fun but it's expensive and lines can be long
