  • We came here in the summer and rode the chairlift to the top. Then we hiked down on the Ontario Canyon trail. It was a beautiful trail. Lots of flowers and shades. The trail crossed the bike trails several times and was really fun to watch the mountain bikes come down.
  • This is some of the best skiing in North America. Great food, great terrain, and classic Utah Powder. Their on mountain dining is consistently rated #1 in North America, and for good reason too. Make sure you try the world famous Deer Valley Turkey Chili. When the sun goes down, take Park City's free bus down into historic Park City and dine at some of the finest restaurants in the West. And to top it all off, Park City is only a 30 minute drive from Salt Lake City International Airport with countless flights to basically everywhere and was rated the #4 best airport in the US last year. Highly recommended
  • I work at this beautiful place. I feel so lucky and grateful to see ducks and geese and occasional moose and deer. I love deer valley!
  • One of the best ski areas I've ever visited. The lift capacity is so large that I never waited in line long to get back up to the top. Ton's of great runs too. Food in the lodges is top notch and lots to choose from.
  • Fantastic snow, varied terrain for all levels, and great ski school. Deer valley is skiers only but it's really close to park city so it's easy to head to park city for nightlife and more restaurants. The hospitality at deer valley is unmatched. Complementary ski storage so you don't have to tote your gear to the slopes everyday, Kleenex boxes at every life line, and other touches you won't find at other mountains.

Where to stay in Park City

Most Park City hotels raise room rates significantly during the height of the ski season, so shop for bargains a few months before your trip. If you arrive during the city's world-famous film festival, expect to pay a bundle for rooms well out of town. The easiest way to avoid the crowds and stay economically may be to choose one of the city's bed and breakfasts, which offer comfortable rooms packed with modern amenities and easy access to the area's ski resorts.
