Bergen County Zoological Park, Paramus

We went to the zoo and had a wonderful time. Definitely would recommend a visit to this hidden gem. The zoo has a gift shop, restrooms, and many places to stop for a snack. Unfortunately it was a rainy day with some thunder and lightning, so many of the animals were tucked safely into their houses/dens/burrows, etc., and we didn't get to play at the playground. But we thoroughly enjoyed the zoo and will definitely be visiting again regularly.

Such a cool Playgrounds, has at least 4-5 different little playgrounds. Toilet amenities present. Also amazing little trails around the park. Picnic tables under a covered Pavillion, where you can hide from the rain. There is a zoo and carousel nearby

Nice big park that has a train, zoo and carousel. In the winter they offer ice skating. The day we went they had horses for the kids to ride. We also saw a lot of wildlife in the parking lot so be careful around the parking lots!

Went to this park for the bergen county fair. Very impressed with how clean and nice it was. They have a huge playground for kids with nice stuff, way better than I had as a kid. Plenty of open area for throwing balls or flying kites. Enjoyed the small fair and the 4H exhibits.

This park is huge! Here is what they have! 1. A zoo for kids. 2, a mini train ride around the park 3. A carousel 4. So many picnic areas (grilling allowed) 5. Huge parking areas and walkways 5. EV charging stations 6. Multiple entry and exit points to access the park. Park has so many trees that you can escape the hot sun if you wish to. So many good spots to have a picnic. Pets are allowed. Cell signals are 2 bars on LTE for Verizon. Cell phone coverage gets real spotty in some areas. Enjoy if you visit!!
