  • It's a great place to have fun with your family. Simple place but has the structure need to spend a good day having fun.  more »
  • This is the second trip our scout troop has taken to Paoli Peaks. The merit badge weekend can't be beaten for cost and value. Peter and Roy (ski instructor/director) did a terrific job of making sure ...  more »
  • Memory maker!! The slopes were perfect for my 5,6 and 8 year old to learn to ski on. They were in the advance slopes in no time. Instructors were very helpful even helping after the lessons were complete. The bad: the operators of the ski lifts were distracted, on their phones and impatient. Even yelled at my 5 year old about not getting off the lift and holding up progress. Even the more advanced skiers were complaining throughout the day about the dangerous operations of the lifts. If they addressed this, it gets 5 stars!
  • Been skiing here since I was a kid and for southern Indiana they have some very good trails. My personal favorite is all the way to the right.
  • Absolutely loved this place because of our skiing instructor. The rest of the staff gave us very limited information and we ended up waiting for a long time. The skiing lessons happen every hour. Our instructor Bailey was way to cool to put it down here. He was extremely patient and helped us out. Without him it would've been a lousy experience. Definitely would go again for Bailey!
  • Paoli Peaks has many slopes for people of all skill levels. You are allowed to change between skiing and snowboarding one time for free. Snow tubing is an extra charge unless your initial purchase was for tubing. I personally did not eat at the cafeteria but members of my group commented that it was fairly expensive ($4 for a slice of pizza). Most of the staff were friendly and professional, however a few were not. Paoli Peaks is comparable to Perfect North Slopes, however I would say that Perfect North is better because you can change between skiing/snowboarding/tubing unlimited times for free. If you are looking for great family fun or an adventure for a group Paoli Peaks is a great place to go!
  • One of two resorts relatively close to Indianapolis, the other being perfect north. If you compare it to a big resort out west, it falls pitifully short, but for its location it's not bad. The slopes are a reasonable length for the Midwest, though their only black diamond seems to be barely that. It's great if you're a beginner-intermediate, but lacking if you're more advanced. It also usually has a decent base, and they blow snow if it's lacking. 4 stars instead of 3 because of location, but the slopes are probably 3/5.
