VW Slug Bug Ranch Reviews
Это ответ ранчо Кадиллак. Умеют американцы из всякой фигни памятник сделать. Стоит на пару минут остановиться. more »Cadillac Ranch is the answer. Can Americans from any stupid monument make. Stands for a couple of minutes to stay.
Wie die Cadillac Ranch, nur eben mit Käfern. Eigentlich mal sehr schön, aber mittlerweile sieht es aus wie Sau. Jeder schmeißt seinen Müll und die Spraydosen weg. Also von außen in Ordnung, aber in di... more »As the Cadillac Ranch, just with beetles. Actually once very beautiful, but now it looks like. Everybody would throw away his trash and the spray cans. So from outside right, but in the huts you don't have to. Still, Look at.
We had to go to the slug bug ranch for a second time. It is still the same except this time the smell from a sewer is over powering. It's almost impossible to stay very long. We still take our spray p... more »
Awesome roadside oddity. Better than the more well-known Cadillac Ranch down the road. Less people provides more opportunity for uninterrupted exploration and photo ops. Graffiti covered buildings nearby add to the ambiance.
There it was, just sitting on the south side of the road. An abandoned convoy of VW beetles from the once thriving West Texas commune of "Veggies for Vegetables." We just couldn't let it go to waste. It took a few hours, but we finally finished up at around four in the morning. We positioned the bugs at just the right angle so they'd be aligned with the great Pyramid of Egypt, then painted 'Tascosa sucks!' on it and left. Of course, any time I tell this story, my psychiatrist chuckles, and then scribbles something in her notepad.
It's so cool to discover little known places put here on the road! Safe and fun travels!!
Fun place to stop for pics take a can of spray paint and add your tag!!
The slug bugs are neat but the food at the restaurant is great.
