We took our 6 & 5 year old here and they had a blast. I believe there was only one ride that they were not able to go on. Overall, it was fun for the adults and children. We spent the whole day here. ... read more »
Plan on spending the whole day to get your money worth. It is good fun. Rent a locker, buy a cup. Cup = free refills, locker gives you somewhere to put it if all want to go on a ride.
I love this place! My kids love this place! My parents took me here as a kid, and now I get to take my kids. It's a large water park near the beach. There's a huge splash pad and young kids area, a large wave pool, and lots of slides. There are life guard everywhere, and I feel like my kids are very safe. On the 4th of July, they have a BBQ with large portions for a good price.
No swimming in the ocean, kids wanted to swim, so here we are. We had a blast here. The staff were all very nice! Rides were great, not very busy. Fun for both my kids (who are 7 years apart). Wave pool gave us an ocean-like experience since the ocean was closed most of our stay.
Not worlds largest waterpark, but very fun. We stayed with 5 kids, ages 4 - 15, from open until close and never ran out of stuff to do. They also have adult beverages and lounge chairs for parents to enjoy the sun as the kids enjoy the slides. Tips: - Be prepared to pay amusement park prices for drinks and food. - Arrive early and claim a table as "home base" for finding each other. - They have lockers, but they are 5$ and up determined by size.
My 2 year old daughter LOVED this place. Honestly, it's the most comfortable I've seen her in water. The kids section has water that was up to her waste and I could watch her from my chair. Tons of little slides she could do alone. There is a life guard in every area and they all seemed very attentive. There are a few bigger slides which are fun, but I definitely think this is a place more oriented for children ages 1-12. I don't feel like there is as much for older kids who want more of a thrill. There is one of the bigger slides with a tube that allows the little ones on it. It was fun. Also, I had THE BEST pulled pork BBQ sandwich of my life at one of their concession stands I think it was called "the galley". Not to mention we all three ate for $25 - which was one hotdog with fruit, a pulled pork BBQ with cheese fries and chicken strips with cheese fries plus 2 bottles of water and a sweet tea. They don't allow your own snacks or drinks which sucks though if you are trying to save money. And the park is price as is. It was $107 for three of us.
Our family had such a fun day here. The rides were fun and exhilarating. There was something for us all to do. The staff was so sweet always asking if we were having fun. You can rent lockers for your stuff so you're not toting things all over. Great baby pools too.
