  • Interesting golf course that can't make up its mind if it's a dune course, a water course or just a very challenging course. It's very difficult to play on a windy day.  more »
  • The course is a 1000 per cent better than a year ago. Played yesterday. The greens are lush, fast, and smooth. Putt great. Fairways and rough are ok for this time of year. They will improve greatly as...  more »

  • Really enjoyed the Nicklaus course today, however they have a customer service issue. The lady in the pro-shop was polite and courteous, as was the young man who helped when I finished at dusk, but the older guy who initially loaded my clubs in the cart should be doing something which doesn't require engaging the public. If it were just about the course I would definitely give it 5 stars, but customer service matters, and I would rather not have someone who obviously hates either their job, other humans, or both be the ambassador at the start. I told him I was ok getting my own bag, but he still jerked it out of my trunk, threw it onto the cart half-ass, and let three of my clubs slide out of the bag, leaving them behind in my vehicle. After I fixed that, I smiled and asked him to point me to the first hole, he acted as if I were stupid for not already knowing. Again, the course was outstanding, and it was great to play one which Nicklaus designed. Good roll on the fairways, tight well-kept greens, interesting water hazards, and a couple proper restroom facilities. Not as hard as I expected, but still challenging enough. I would say I'd play it again or its sister course (The Meadows), but there's so much golf in the area without having to deal with a jerk, I'm not sure I will make the 45 minute drive to deal with that guy again.
  • Let me know if Val Blazer is ever looking for a new work place. She would fit in nicely at the Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando. Her Kindness and follow up information was very helpful. Thanks Val for making our golf experience at Bay point an enjoyable 18!
  • Rude as hell. Upon arriving at hole 1 and sitting there for 5 minutes waiting for the starter to ackwonledge our presence my dad says ,"You the starter?", the jack ass replies" No I'm just sitting out here for fun.", at which time I say,"There's that smart ass bay point attitude again". Had a sketchy run in with another one of their hands who took it upon himself to walk almost on top of me and grabbed my clubs to load them up I guess, I mean the guy didn't say word one so I don't know what he was thinking or planning on doing. I said hold on there boss, nobody moves/carries my clubs, I'll get that. Just assholes. We werent dressed in 1000k outfit and looking down our noses at people so I reckon they knew we weren't regulars. The course was nice & the beer cart girl was nice ,just about everyone else was walking around with their chest puffed out & their shiny gold watch shoved in their nose....skip this place, save some money .
  • best and toughest course I've played in a while! fairways looked to be 1/2 in. tall
  • The staff here are the BEST. So nice. The greens are super nice. Unbelievable views.
