Have been here with grandchildren. They loved the rides...a little pricey; but, they enjoyed it. That's what vacations are all about

Lots of fun to keep the teens away from their phones for awhile, but 12 bucks for mini golf was a little high! Between the go carts and mini golf, we spent more money than we did for dinner! It was wo... read more »
We went to the Hidden Lagoon to play mini-golf. One benefit of this location is that the 18th hole (which is super difficult), offers the chance at winning $50 for a hole in one. My fiance and I got to the venue around 9 PM. Tickets were $12 a person. The man at the front desk was friendly but didn't really give any instruction other than there were two courses: The Waterfall Course which is hard and the Fountain Course which is easy. We opted to take the hard course which had several obstacles to surpass. This course had bumps, curved/tilted surfaces, obscured views, and/or had one or multiple holes with tunnels that led your ball to another patch of green with a separate hole. The scenery and the actual course layout was neat, but there were a TON of people. At nearly each of the 18 holes, we had to wait in line for 6-10 people to finish before we could go. Luckily, there are benches along the path on which to sit which was nice. There was also a line behind us, so we felt a bit rushed as we didn't want to hold up the line. The sign said that you have 7 tries to get the ball in. Several of the people there (including us) stopped after the first few tries instead just so that the people behind could go ahead and go. The waterfall feature was cool since you get to walk on a bridge through a cavern behind the falls, however the water smelled like sewer. Some people gave up and left without finishing the course due to the long wait. In all honesty, I was about ready to leave by the 8th hole, but we stuck it out to finish the course. The location typically closes at 10 PM, but we didn't finish until after 10:30 PM due to the long lines. The mini-golf experience at the Hidden Lagoon wasn't as great or as fun as I'd expected. In hindsight, I'm positive the racetrack would have been a much better selection.
Nobody in line, 4 karts racing, 4+ employees working, had to wait and wait because they were "closed until 4:30", then they changed the time to "closed until 4:40". Not one of the employees working addressed the people waiting to purchase tickets to race. Complete waste of time. This place apparently doesn't want to make money or even stay open. Won't bother trying to return next year or any year for that matter.
Don't remember her name but the lady who gave the instructions was very polite. I recommend paying for the early Bird special which was $25. It was well worth the fun(extra laps).
I loved this place as a kid. I went there about 12 years ago. I returned this year with my family and saw that the 18th hole was basicly rigged. They added rivets right around the hole (almost like stairs) and a wall that makes banking the ball almost impossiable. If I would of noitced before I paid I would of went somewhere else. When I last went none of this was in place. Sadly I dont think I will ever come back to the putt putt golf when in PCB. :(
well, the only reason I gave this place 1 star is so I could actually write a review. me, and all of my family/friends that came with me would rate this place a 0!!! on the 18th hole, one of my family members clearly made a hole in one (which means they give you $50.00). they looked at the cameras and refused to give us the money because they couldn't tell if it hit someone's foot. seriously? get some better cameras if that is going to be a problem. if it would've hot that persons foot, it wouldn't have gone towards the whole. common sense. it was absolutely ridiculous and none of us are EVER going back there. I would not recommend going to this place, seriously. also, the workers were not the nicest in the world.
