  • In just five years, this beach has changed. There was less: less beach, less trees; no washroom--just a porta-potty; the boardwalk was closed and no talk about re-building it. There was a new boat....  more »
  • Pretty beach, small and quiet. Visited in early September, midweek, and it was very relaxing. Our dogs enjoyed their first trip to a beach.  more »
  • Such a beautiful beach. The water is a little murky. The bath house is inoperable but there is a water spigot at the beach to wash your feet. Very few people on a Sunday afternoon in June  more »

  • Not a huge area of beach, but it's relatively secluded and the views are very pretty. The water isn't the clearest since it's a bay, so keep that in mind for swimming. But it's definitely a pretty beach.
  • This was a beautiful little beach. The parking was pretty good, you were able to walk really far out in the water and this was a good place to see so little sea creatures like hermit crabs and snails!
  • Very very beautiful! Love that you could walk out so far because the water is so shallow for quite a good ways out. Needs more parking but overall it was a really fun day for the family. Also right down the road from the aquarium so it was easy to do some educational and still be here!
  • Nice little beach. I was there at low tide so was not able to enjoy a dip, but the setting is beautiful and it's not overly crowded. This may be due to the limited parking available.
  • You must park on the side of the road but it's awesome here. I went left and kept walking until I was alone. Really pretty. Really pretty. You should go. I picked this place because the other reviews said the sand bars went out very far. They do, it was cool. Tons of hermit crabs. Very peaceful. A lot of rocks. This part of Florida has very wild and un-Florida like beaches. Seems like you're somewhere else. I much prefer the natural beaches to tourist trap beaches. If you do as well then go here.
