  • The University is among the best universities in the world, your campus is considered the most beautiful of the United States. One of the nicknames of the University is The Farm because it was built on a huge farm. She has 7 faculties: business, Earth Sciences, engineering, humanities and Sciences, education, law and medicine. The main entrance to Stanford is made by Palm Drive, a street full of beautiful palm trees leading to a beautiful lawn in which there is an "S" enormous in the Centre made of flowers. This large area of OVAL is known as Oval. When we went was different since they were celebrating the 125 years of the University. A little further is the Main Quad, a square that is the heart of the University. There is a work of the sculptor Rodin: The Burghers of Calais. Up ahead is the Memorial Church, a church in the Renaissance style with Byzantine details. Internally has mosaics and a musical organ. I always wanted to study at Stanford, then visit the campus, for me, it was wonderful. Despite the rain, the visit was magnificent. You can leave your car parked in the visitors ' area (don't forget to pay the parking machines), go to the Visitor Center and pick up a map with the main visiting areas. There is a lot of green area, buses that circulate around campus for free, numerous sculptures and works of art scattered around, it's worth a visit, even if it's not a fan of universities.

  • Beautiful campus with quite a few places to visit and sit. Golf cart tour was fun. I was able to navigate it pretty easily and joined a few of the events. Easy to acquire guest pass in the library. Campus seems very active.
  • Probably the best university I have ever seen. Though I am not a student of Stanford, I went there to meet someone and to visit the campus. My cousin in law has helped me a lot to learn the surroundings of campus. The campus is amazing. I walked almost everywhere, throughout the day. Sculpture garden, Hoover tower, museum, water fountain... etc all are awesome.
  • Open Hours: 24 hours Parking: Yes Stanford - The name says it all. One of the Best Universities - In education and Campus. Loved the dedication every person has here. Dream to study one course from here at least.
