  • I brought my 4 year old here and spent a good 2 hours playing around. There were so many hands on activities inside and a tiny zoo outside. We loved that it was free and that it's part of the city all...  read more »
  • I'm au pair and I have visited this zoo/museum with my host children. It's a good place and it's free, not big animals but it's normal because it's free.

  • Great location, recomended donation amount is reasonable, friendly and helpful staff, great exhibits, and the zoo is quite nice. Kids loved it. My family had a wonderful time here!
  • This museum and zoo is quite small but entry fee is by donation. The zoo doesn't have many animals at all, but I believe they're all rescue animals, so it's great that they're rescuing and looking after them. Although the museum part is small too, my kids can spend an hour playing with the tennis ball machine.
  • Wonderful! It was small but seemed lovingly created and run. I loved the little museum that was filled with hands-on (and whimsical) activities and decorations, and the secure baby area (with 'stairs' and a tiny slope, which my toddler LOVED). The 'zoo' was also lovingly created so that kids could learn from the little creatures. My 1.5-, 5- and 7-yo all had a great time.
  • As an adult I love the zoo here. It's small, which allows intimate viewing of the animals, many of which are rescues. I especially like the raccoons and the bats. Also, on Owl Day you can pet an owl!
  • Free admission children' museum and zoo. A bit difficult to find for the first time. Very small zoo - my daughter spent 15-20 minutes and viewed all animals. Children museum is small too, but has interesting exhibits so children can get busy for some time
