  • ACTUAL VISITS 1998-2003 NOT 2016! We visited often when our kids were young ~1998-2003 Loved it. Right by the children's library and Rinconada Park. Fun every time.
  • The hands-on exhibits are created often by talented staff and are appropriate for young children, who thoroughly enjoy it. The zoo is small but has local California animals like bobcats.
  • I brought my 4 year old here and spent a good 2 hours playing around. There were so many hands on activities inside and a tiny zoo outside. We loved that it was free and that it's part of the city all...  more »

  • Very good place for toddlers and infants. They can run around on their own as it's a small little park which few creatures. There's also an attached a science lab for kids to play and understand electricity, power, butterflies etc. The raccoon enclosure is very cute and the wild cat is a major attraction. Also you'll spot several kids trying to find lizards in the huge enclosure which is quite fun.
  • Superb place for kids between age group 1-5 years . Lots of machines to learn and play and small zoo but still nice place ..you should must take your children if there I'm range of between 1-5 years
  • Wonderful! It was small but seemed lovingly created and run. I loved the little museum that was filled with hands-on (and whimsical) activities and decorations, and the secure baby area (with 'stairs' and a tiny slope, which my toddler LOVED). The 'zoo' was also lovingly created so that kids could learn from the little creatures. My 1.5-, 5- and 7-yo all had a great time.
  • Great location, recomended donation amount is reasonable, friendly and helpful staff, great exhibits, and the zoo is quite nice. Kids loved it. My family had a wonderful time here!
  • Every week I was there! Each day I found and learn different things
