My wife and I love this place! She enjoys reading a good book while I ski for a few hours. Then we meet for lunch in the Slopeside Grill. That is always a special treat. The food is delicious... more »

Going to this ski mountain is like going to Nazi Germany. They constantly are nagging the skiers about masks while ignoring how successful social distancing is. They pack you in. If you like... more »

Took my kids snow tubing for the first time. They are young, and they trouble keeping their tubes on the conveyer belt. The man behind us got mad, threw out tubes over the side and told my six and... more »

Great staff for lessons. I have been snowboarding for 20+ years and brought my daughter here for the her first time. The whole process for child lessons is seamless. It's so well thought out and moves very quickly and efficiently. My daughter loved the women giving the lessons and totally fell in love with skiing as a result. I highly recommend Blue Mountain for lessons and it's proximity to NJ. It's only 2 hours from Monmouth County, NJ.

Great place for first time skiers. I went with a group of 4 and we got an instructor which I strongly recommend. Livia S was a great and patent instructor. The beginners slope is more than enough for first time skiers. When you start to feel comfortable there are curves and a faster slope that you can try in the same area.

First I have to give major kudos to Blue Mountain snow makers for doing an AMAZING job of building and maintaining a great base and conditions in a most challenging winter 2019/20. Blue can get crowded on weekend afternoons because it's the closest best place to ski to Philly and North Jersey but they do a good job managing the crowds. Blue has some great fun terrain, enough variety to keep things interesting and always great staff in the ski shop and the customer service counter. Happy to call Blue my home mountain.

5 stars all around - been going here for over 10 years The folks that work here make it enjoyable. Year after year you see the same faces from the bartenders to the waiters, lift attendants, ski school and snow makers. You can tell they care and keep good people coming back. Ticketing is easy - once you setup your online account you can skip the lines and just head out to the slopes. Upgraded facilities - the base lodge has more space now. Cell phone coverage is much better across the mountain (I have AT&T). Free wireless too. Prices are affordable- especially when you take advantage of all the other discounted amenities they provide... season passes are affordable - look for the discounts they offer.. Lift lines move well even when busy. VIP lines for season members help. They have really perfected snowmaking. Groomed trails which keep things safe. Wide trails with long runs... Only thing missing is on-slope accommodations which would make it six stars. Maybe one day soon?

I’ve been going to Blue Mountain since I was a kid. It is one of my favorite spots to hit the slopes in the tri-state area. The new kiosks for passes make it easy to get on the mountain. The rental shop and pro shop are equipped with quality equipment and knowledgeable staff. Spending the day at Blue Mountain is always an amazing time! If you are looking to learn to ski/snowboard for the first time or you’ve been doing it for years, I highly recommend Blue Mountain!
