  • My family was here during Superbowl 2018 weekend. We have 3 skiers and a snowboarder. I am neither and mostly hang out in the lodge. People are friendly (patrons and staff) and facility is well-groome...  more »

  • I am rating this based on PA Ski Areas. Blue is a 5 Star PA Ski area because it actually has over 1000 vertical feet of nearly continuous drop. You can lap the two double black diamonds all night long. It is possible to get more vertical feet in at Blue than any mountain I know given the fast lifts and quick descents (if there are no lift lines). I only come here on powder days or to get in shape, but I do enjoy it (when it isn't pure ice moguls). Last night was decent powder.
  • We purchased our lift tickets online but made a typo in our email address during the registration process. I was able to use the live chat on their website to get someone there to correct it. We arrived at the mountain on a Saturday around 11am. There was plenty of free parking close to the entrance. We were greeted by 2 very helpful staff members who told us how to get the lift tickets we bought online. We were on the lift within 10 minutes of arrival. Had lunch at the upper lodge with great food and service. Great day. Highly recommended!
  • Awesome place to go skiing and snowboarding. Staff are all friendly, helpful and have no qualms with assisting beginner people. Prices are reasonable and if you are able definitely go during the week as it is much less crowded. And due to the location you don't get that many people from NYC which is a plus in my book. The green and blue slopes felt appropriate for their respective skill levels. My only issue is that more often than not the path leading to the ski lift and the ramp off of it have a tendency to become ice making it rather difficult for less experienced snowboarders. The food court had serviceable food albeit a bit pricey for the quantity and quality of it. The retail store/ tuning shop are full of competent techs only there to help you figure out what you need. Their repair services were always quick and dirt cheap just trying to get you back onto the mountain as fast as they can. Can't recommend their store highly enough.
  • Ya all crazy giving this place less than 5 star. Been here 2 times, it's both been great and enjoyable. To safe time, you can buy the tickets online which is a short line when picking up. Or you should come earlier. This mountain isn't pack with beginner and has 2 big green line to keep them occupied. As for the intermediate or harder, everyone is skilled and doesn't linger around mid mountain. Coming to dining, I would go to the top of the mountain for a decent view. There are multiple lounges with local craft beer and delicious burger. If it's not cold, you should ear outside since it's packed with kids and family indoor. Burger is something to die for here as well as their fries at the bar. The snow condition isn't so bad here even on a bad day. It's pretty much depend on your research. I only come here between high 10 to 30s after a cold night.
  • I love the mountain. They have plenty of trails but only have a few lifts open at a time. That wouldn't be so big of a deal if the lift tickets where just a bit cheaper. Would make the trip out there a bit more worth wild.
