Palm Canyon Drive, Palm Springs
(4.1/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web)
Aptly named for the palms that tower overhead, Palm Canyon Drive brings everything to life. This road is the city's main cruising street, and it hums with action. Wide, palm-lined sidewalks make touring the shops, restaurants, and art galleries an inviting way to spend an afternoon. Benches line the street, so you can pause for a rest or a snack. Put Palm Canyon Drive into our Palm Springs itinerary planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • This is a really fun street to cover on foot -- especially the northern end, which seems to focus on mid-century modern galleries and shops. For food, don't miss Cheeky's and Birba.
