  • Do not expect to see a crevice. It is filled in but the oasis itself is lovely and has interesting history. Take lots of water.
  • Quite surprised by the dilapidated state of the Park. When we arrived, there was no one to greet us: the home was closed (since days?) and we found ourselves in a completely abandoned Park. We were even not very reassuring. The Palm trees are lying or damaged, fetid water and there are coyotes in freedom... There are other things much more beautiful to see in the corner.

  • this was a really nice visit. very relaxed and chill. my girlfriend and I really enjoyed ourselves and she suggested it!
  • It's a must see. It was so kool how all of it grew together. I went when it was 110 out cause i was only there for a short time. I plan on going back when its a little cooler so i can explore more. I love it.
  • Green desert oasis with standing water due to location above San Andreas fault. Huge untrimmed palms, lots of birds etc and a nice little museum. Helpful volunteers to guide visitors on walks.
  • A short trip to visit a real oasis. One can only image how the native indians must have felt at having a source of water. The giant palms form a cool, shady oasis. There are small ponds with another endangered fish species. Worth the trip.
  • Unique place. In the middle of a desert there is a amazon like hot steamy jungle with lots of animals in there. It is right on the St Andreas Fault too.
  • One of my favorite places. The palm tree grove is fun to walk through and gives the impression that you're in another place completely and the pond is very sceni
