  • Great atmosphere (especially outdoors), delicious drinks. We were there on a Monday, when the food truck was closed. Loved the pear-jito and Strawberry Limeade. Went to the brewery to get dinner. Woul...  more »
  • We had already had dinner and went here to have a night cap. A must do if like a great drink. They make their own liquor and it's excellent. The bar tender knows what she's doing and far exceeded what...  more »
  • The drinks at the Distillery are very good. We ordered drink mixes that we had never herd of before. They were on the more expensive side but were very worth the extra money. The service was good and ...  more »

  • So I really hate giving businesses low ratings and am typically very forgiving/understanding but with this one I sadly have to make an exception. I went in last night after a hike in the area to grab a drink. I'm from out of town so first thing I ask the woman bartending is if they serve beer there because I was craving a cold one after exhausting myself in the heat. Immediately I get attitude. She laughs and says "Um NO.. this is a distillery." I respond by saying "Okay, I'm sorry I just wasn't sure, this is my first time here." She didn't seem to like that. She proceeds to help another customer and then comes back and asks what I want. As I stated, since I am not from the area and have never been there I simply ask what is popular on the menu. She apparently didn't like that either and responded by literally saying "Calm down, I'm not going to just tell you things, you need to tell me what kind of drinks you like or I can't help you." At this point I'm beside myself. How someone could be so rude to a person being so nice, literally for no reason. Like saying "calm down" to someone that is not hyped up at all is ridiculous. She clearly lacks humility and could certainly use training in how to talk to customers. Finally, after just choosing something random so I didn't have to deal with her anymore she made my drink along with another customers (purposefully gave me the one with much less liquid in it) and asked for payment. Long story short my wife dropped my wallet over the past weekend in Denver and someone stole my credit and debit cards so I had my wife's CC with me... As you could probably guess she came back saying I can't use it and therefore couldn't have the drink. I was obviously not thrilled but that was really just the icing on the cake. I calmly explained the situation but said if that's their policy I'll respect it and started to walk out. As I left she said, "thanks for the attitude!" I was in shock. How someone could do a job like that and be so rude is beyond me. To be fair, it's a cool place but your employees unfortunately reflect how people perceive your business and in this case, the employee completely eliminated any chance of me enjoying my time there. Just would hate to have an employee working for me that scares people away rather than welcoming them in.
  • Friendly staff offered us some tastes even though we missed the normal tasting bar hours. Try the aged brandies and the bourbon. The cocktails look good but we didn't have time.
  • The drinks are A+; all around good and consistently so. Try a mojito, pear ricky or any of their specials. The lemon and dirty martinis are also top notch. Everything is thirst quenching and tasty. On a Friday or Saturday nights you might end up with a wait - possibly a long, annoying wait to get your drinks. They will run with two bartenders and no wait staff. We experienced multiple waits of 20 minutes each in line at the bar on a Friday night. They'll also tell you that your whole party needs to come up to the bar for their drinks... which is difficult in a packed house with limited seating. Hopefully your DD doesn't need another round and can keep your table. Stamping hands at the door could cure this problem - They've done this before but perhaps the hand stamper was sick at home (or stuck in line at the bar?) A ticketing system, another bartender, someone floating on the floor taking orders and closing out tabs- something. However! Despite the waits, it is a really fun place to be with a fantastic environment and I hope come here for a long time.
  • Always and I Do Mean Always A Great Time..
  • Great location, knowledgeable staff. I only wish I lived closer. Be sure to try the tasting along with a drink at the bar.
