I can't say enough about the beauty of this area. The Colorado river supplies water to this valley and the local growers make the most of it. You can stand among rows and rows of green grape vines and... read more »

Pam in the tasting room is always pleasant and knowledgeable about the wines. The Anemoi wines are definitely a must to try.
This has been my absolute favorite winery since I came here in 2003 on an AIPG geology field trip. Our group took a tour, then the Colorado section had food catered for lunch while we enjoyed the beautiful views, especially the vineyards with the Bookcliffs as a background. The wine is absolutely the best, the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Port are my favorites. The staff is so friendly. I have recommended this vineyard to many people. When I visited Denver I enjoyed visiting the Georgetown Tasting Room, which closed recently. Now that we are close to retiring to Grand Junction, CWC's is closing. Do you ship to Arizona ?
My wife and I had a great experience in your tasting room with a helpful and knowledgeable lady (Chris) who helped us narrow our selection down to a case of one wine and a split case of two others. Canyon Wind Cellars has some great wines and a very pleasant setting. I ordered another case that I'm having shipped to me, but I hope to make it back to your tasting room for another visit.
Absolute best wine tasting experience! Extremely friendly owners/staff that were willing to answer and teach us anything we wanted to know! BeautIful vineyard, amazing wine and great staff! HIGHLY recommend this winery!
Sorry to see the winery is closing. Great staff and great wines. Enjoyed the view and the unique location compared to others in the area.
Some good wines here, especially Lips, Petite Verdot, Merlot, which we took home. The tasting room is nice, and the lawn area worked well to park the kids on a picnic blanket. Beautiful location near the Bookcliifs. The woman pouring was not really into it that day, so that detracted from the experience. Some of the wines are more expensive, but arguably worth it. Sorry to see this is closing end of year.
