  • We went there to see the dogwoods blooming but most of them were finished blooming so it was not as pretty as we expected but we saw a few blooms. Even though it was the first week-end of the dogwood ...  more »
  • Rain got most of the dogwood flowers but the park rice was nice. Big enough to get lost and lots of trees.  more »
  • We returned for another visit to the park. It was not as brilliant as last year due to the unusually warm spring and cold snap a few weeks ago. Most all the azaleas and dogwoods were past their prime ...  more »

  • When To Visit: Late March, Early April Davey park is known for the dogwood trees, which bloom bright white flowers. The annual dogwood festival is held the last weekend of March and first weekend of April. The park is a nice place to walk, picnic or spend time outdoors year round, but is a draw for photographers and nature lovers during the peak spring flower season. Park is open to the public year round, no admission. A quick google search for "Dogwood Trails Celebration" will produce information about the upcoming years festival.
  • A nice nature facility that is well maintained. Especially nice in the spring when the Dogwoods are in full bloom. Picnic facilities and lots of room to hike.
  • This is a great place for anyone that likes nature. It's also great place for anyone looking to run or do any other kind of workout. There are hills to make a run challenging or flat pieces of land for a more traditional run route as well as places with grass to do other types of workouts or activities.
  • So beautiful. I was able to have lunch and work while enjoying the beautiful scenic view. Peaceful.
  • Good walking trails but no playground for the kids.
