Pahrump Valley Winery, Pahrump

(4.6/5 based on 260 reviews on the web)
Pahrump Valley Winery & Symphony's Restaurant, owned by Proprietors & Vintners Bill and Gretchen Loken since 2005, is Nevada's most popular and largest selling winery. The Loken’s are helping pioneer the way for a wine industry in Nevada. Their '05 Nevada Ridge Zinfandel released in 2008 marked the beginning of an award-winning, grape-growing industry, with the wine produced from zinfandel grapes grown solely at the vineyard. The Winery has received over 325 national wine awards and just Won Double Gold for Nevada’s first-ever Primitivo wine. The Loken's have expanded the vineyard from 350 vines to its current 1,500-plus vines of Zinfandel and Syrah grapes planted amidst 5 acres. The picturesque Pahrump Valley Winery and its Zagat-rated Symphony’s Restaurant, with a spectacular view of the Mt. Charleston Peak, are nestled on 10 acres at 3810 Winery Road, Pahrump, NV and open daily. Wine tastings, winery tours, and weddings at the beautiful rose garden gazebo are offered. Grape Stomp Annual Festival held 2nd weekend of October. For more information or reservations, call 800-368-9463 or 775-751-7800, or go online to

  • This is the go-to-place for my girlfriends and I. We love the view, the great staff, and the awesome food!  more »
  • Winery with restaurant attached. Many local wines, red and white, some from estate grapes at site, others with grapes brought in from other regions. One of the few wineries that offer seven varieties ...  more »
  • We stayed in a cabin next door and went for a wine tasting. Big choice of wines, both CA grapes and locally grown . We enjoyed most of our tastes. A surprising find in Nevada.  more »
  • Excellent meal in a town with few good restaurants. Attached to the winery, they serve mostly steaks with some seafood and specials. Service was excellent, all the food cooked as ordered and really tasted fine. I am not crazy about the wines they make but I have had far worse for a lot more. Total tab for dinner for two with wine, tax and tip around $90.
  • What a wonderful surprise in the middle of the desert! Stopped here for lunch on the way to Vegas after driving through Death Valley and will absolutely be back. Excellent, delicious food! And our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Beautiful view sitting out in the dining sun room, which I highly recommend!
  • This place was horrible. The waitresses at the restaurant kept stealing our waiters food and tables that sat after us got their food and were done before we got our food. The manager had to watch for our food to get made and then bring it to us. We were at the Grape stomp and it would have been great fun had the owners of the winery not rigged the contest and awarded their friends instead of the obvious crowd favorite.
  • A real class place. Award-winning wine, tasting bar, exquisite restaurant. Great walk on the grounds through the Vineyards. Highly recommended.
  • My husband and I went there for our anniversary dinner and knew we'd picked a winner when we drove up. The ambiance in the dining rooms is perfect, and the food excellent. We both had the petite filet, and it was fork tender. The Lobster Bisque as a starter was delicious, and even though we ate ourselves into a food coma, split the fried banana dessert, heavenly. Our server was Elijah, and he was wonderful.
