  • Great place. The staff is very friendly and even provide strollers for the trail. The distance of the trail is perfect; long enough to see multiple animals but not too long where it's a task to get back to the beginning. This is also a plus for families since kids normally won't last long trails. Will definitely be back when in town again.
  • Wonderful experience! We went today and everyone was so nice. We rode horses with Tammy as our guide and it was a perfect experience for my 6 and 10yr old! The animals were lovely and the girls loved learning about the story of each animal and how they came to be there!
  • This is a small wildlife rescue. There are a few animals, but all appear to be well kept and happy. Expect to spend around an hour viewing the animals and visiting the gift shop. The trail may be difficult for persons with handicaps, but a wheelchair is available. Personal photography is not allowed without written permission but personal photography is allowed. If you enjoy the animals consider adopting one, on paper only, to support the facilities.
  • My family is visiting from Indiana and my husband had never been on or near a horse and they got him up there, made him feel comfortable and we all had an awesome ride! Thank you for life time memories. Great park with beautiful animals and wonderful ladies working there.
  • Great wildlife center! The animal appear to be well cared for and not stressed. Make sure to come at feeding time for the tour. This place needs to be on the local tourism radar in San Juan County, NM.
