  • Perfect Travelourplanet's directions to get there. I agree with what was written by many. I also visited the Antelope, maybe, and I repeat perhaps, is nicer: you see, though, if you think spending $70 (if I remember correctly) for a guided tour of the Antelope, amid a sea of people (and I have been there in December!), when you can visit without a guide, without so many people and if you don't have the clock here on Water Holes Canyon. For now it is not known by many: so let's go! I did not pay anything: the entry was free and there was no sign that indicated by having to pay for something.

  • Purchase the license at the gate of Upper Antelope Canyon for $ 12 per person. Walk early in the morning (after visit Lower Antelope Canyon) or late afternoon. Small car park just off the road 89 (milepost 542) out of Page after Horseshoe Bend. Nothing more simple to descend into the canyon, just follow the cairns in sufficient numbers to not get lost ;) Beautiful place, admittedly not as nice as the Antelope Canyon site but you are alone! Ride friendly that I highly recommend to all even for children.
