  • This is a great little museum that tells the history of Confederate general Lloyd Tilghman. Lots of great exhibits and period artifacts. Quick visit. Can be seen in an hour or so. Worth a stop.  more »

  • Honoring ancestry that fought for a righteous cause. The home is maintained and cared for by good folk. The curator (an adopted Yankee, LoL) Mr. Bill Baxter was very helpful and kind. A great place to reconnect with ones ancestry. Sad, this is not the local treasure it should be. Should be a hub for family across the region to gather in large numbers and be proud of who they are. One day all the slander and lies will be removed from history then the truth will be remembered as self evident. The Un-Civil War Shattering the Historical Myths by Leonard M. Scruggs
  • I love this architectural building which was built a long time ago in the early 1850's.
  • Excellent museum and historical home. A must to see in Paducah!
