  • Loved the Chardonnay, Rose and Lot99 blend. Stumbled on this place by accident as it is a short walk from Cayuga Ridge Winery which was our target destination. My whole group of 4 all actually liked the T Owl more. Funny how things work. All the negative reviews are about the bistro service and food. We didnt eat there so cant comment. We go for the wine and it was great. Nice air conditioned tasting room. We visited 6 finger lake wineries and this was in my top 2. (Sheldrake was the other).
  • Turn around!! go away!!! party of 3!! our server was Jessica she was nice and friendly. recommended I have a tasting before picking my wine but ordered my food went to taste it, decided on my wine, but the waitress never came back!! sat down @ 2:01pm appetizer came @ 2:54pm. Jessica never came back for my wine order, after the appetizers she delivered my food @3:05 but with not enough time to ask for a wine, or even question if I wanted a glass of wine. i got to eat my lunch, which was edible, but why visit a winery and eat there without drinking the wine?!?! Celeste was the hostess and wow, what a story. you can tell she is not a happy person. she did not smile to me, I felt as if I was bothering her asking for a table to eat at, why have have a job you obviously do NOT want to work at? you can tell she would not have waited as long as I did for her food. very bad place to eat at. if you go for a tasting it's a great experience . Shaun (spelling) was friendly personable and loved his job. i later found out the Bistro and tasting room are not related which made sense as far as the customer service.
  • Delicious whites and port. Beautiful view of the lake on the patio.
  • Great location, nice view. We've ordered the Margarita dish, the goat cheese salad and the curry broccoli. The service was great, the waitresses came often asking for our opinion on the food. I will suggest it for a quick stop In between the wine tasting. Didn't have the liver to taste the wine though...
  • I was there this past weekend 9/6/14. We were going to have a bite to eat and the do the tasting, however the hostess suggested we do the wine tasting first because they were busy and she would get us when a table opened up. We looked around and there was only about 4 to 5 tables that had people at them. We did the wine tasting she never came to get us. Sat down to lunch and waited at least an hour to get served. I asked the waiter to check on our food about 45 minutes into it and he told me we had not been waiting that long. Once the food came it was horrible. The waiter also never came back to see how we were doing. Needless to say i would not recommend this to anyone. Not just bad service the waiter was also rude.
