  • Not far from the Ormond Tomb, this park features several decades-old oak trees, plus a three-mile nature trail. Also of interest is the fact that the park ranger lives on site.
  • This is a beautiful park. Unfortunately, we were there shortly after Hurricane Matthew, and as a result, most of the hiking trail was still closed. The Fairchild oak tree is an incredible site to see.

  • If your a history buff you'll love this place. It's pretty good to go walking. But otherwise it's not really spectacular enough for multiple visits.
  • Fairchild Oak is a nice spot to take a break and admire this majestic live oak. The trails look interesting as well.
  • Great place to take a nature walk, or just relax. I've been going there for years and it's one of my favorite places.
  • Very peaceful and dense forests with trails minimal noise pollution other than aircraft and light vehicle traffic
  • Great short stop along our bike ride. Bathrooms are welcomed.
