Wet 'n Wild Orlando, Orlando
(3.5/5 based on 2,600+ reviews on the web)
Considered to be the nation's first dedicated water park when it opened in 1977, Wet 'n Wild Orlando is known for its rides and high-speed aquatic attractions. The site has since been purchased by Universal Studios and renovated several times and stands among the country's most-visited water parks. You can get your adrenaline pumping by hopping on the Aqua Drag Racer, (Florida's fastest multi-lane waterslide race), swirling wildly in The Storm, and dropping nearly six stories into the pool below with the Bomb Bay. For a slower pace, check out classic mainstays like the lazy river and wave pool. Plan your visit to Wet 'n Wild Orlando and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Orlando vacation builder.

  • I never saw such good games in water. They are all exciting and fun. There are even a few that leave you breathless. I loved to spend a day here and enjoy the sun while playing in the water.

  • My family visited Wet 'N Wild on December 12, 2016, and had a wonderful time. It was a little pricey ($150 for a half day, for 5 people), but worth it. The rides were great, we loved the lazy river, a...  more »
  • Amazing slides which the whole family can go on together. The whole park was clean and tidy. If the weather is bad or towards the end of the day when the storms come, the park shuts down so it is best...  more »

  • Lots of fun, but aging. That's likely why they are shutting it down at the end of 2016 and opening the new water park next to Islands of Adventure in summer 2017. Still, the water slides and "rides" are a blast and worth the $40 (for FL residents), which gives you unlimited access till they close on Dec 31, 2016.
  • I usually do not write reviews but felt the need to because of all of the negative remarks regarding customer service. Every single staff member was nice and courteous to us and we encountered quite a few. Great park and sad to hear it's been sold out. I gave it 4 stars because: 1, everything, including food was way overpriced and 2, all of the stands, food, closed at 6pm, which is ridiculous when the park is still open till 9pm. Why not cut back on too many employees in one area, not doing anything and save them to at least keep a couple stands open? Example, in the all you can eat BBQ, there was always like 4 employees, but none of them were doing anything but talking? They were nice but way over staffed when 2 of them could've been used to keep open a few food stands after 6pm. Overall, it was an awesome experience and wouldn't hesitate to go again. The rides are super family friendly. Definitely recommend getting the all you can BBQ per person, money wise, although their definition of dessert is just sherbet. Would've liked to see more options in terms of dessert, add a salad and been able to leave the area with our beverages. Thanks Wet n Wild for a wonderful and memorable family day!
  • We loved this place and we miss it so much! Lots of slides for all ages, great food, a wonderful gift shop, great service, very clean and lots of space and lots of chaise longues for everyone. We loved the lazy river, it's very clean, beautiful trees and flowers, records of birds singing, staff was very nice, especially the young man at the front desk who helped us with the tickets (November 2015). We shall definitely come back here!
  • The park has been there for 39 years and part of it is showing. There are some rides that are newer, but much of the park is showing it's age. The kids area, Blastaway Beach, had water so cold that our 8 year old could only stay for a limited time even though they advertise it as being heated. I know that they are in the middle of building Volcano Bay, a shinny, new park in sight of Wet'n'Wild. I am sure that the new park will be top of the line, but it is a shame that they have decided to let Wet'n'Wild languish in mediocrity for the remainder of it's life.
  • So much fun and joy for all ages. Park is closing soon so tickets are cheap. Go have fun at this place if you are in orlando for sure and try der schtuka first.
