  • This is a well designed course (as you would expect from Jack), emulating many of the great Scottish/Irish links courses. The problem is that there is little or no pace of play control -- the guests o...  more »

  • I took my group of 12 to Grand Cypress on day 2 of the golf trip. We played the North and South courses in the morning and the new course after lunch. Upon arrival the staff was outstanding! Very nice...  more »

  • We had a great time at The Villas of Grand Cypress, the staff was extremely friendly and hospitable. I would like to especially thank Tyreese our hostess at the clubhouse for making our stay memorable! Also a special thank you to Dan in Sales and Nerissa in Catering for making sure our group was cared for and served. Chef John did an amazing job with our cooking class; the herb marinated shrimp with sweet potato & charred corn hash was out of this world. Great job guys! Thanks a million, Megan and Scott
  • I had dinner at Nine18 through the Magical Dining program. Dinner for two came out to around $140 with a bottle of wine. The food was top class with very unique tastes and cooked perfectly. For a Saturday it looked very empty. Not sure why dinner reservations were necessary. However, we had one setup late and were the last to leave. For as classy as this place was, it was extremely inappropriate for the staff to clean up all around our table rather than maintaining the ambient and quiet mood the night initially started as. We felt rushed out, and if it was it wasn't for the taste of the food, I would have rated much lower than 4 stars.
  • High end, spacious rooms. Wonderful property. If you have toddlers, there are a couple of steps in the room. The bathroom is inspiratiinal. The TV in the bathroom mirror is cool and innovative. The customer service is exceptional and responsive. We had a meeting there and it was fantastic meeting space with high touch service.
  • Luxury without the all too often air-of-superiority and arrogance that many hotels in this category have. For this down to earth gal, this is one of many reasons that this hotel is in my top two on my list of where to stay when in the Orlando vicinity. Over the years, I have stayed at the Grand Cypress resort, but had always chosen to stay in the main building. The villas, as their name implies, are separate from the main building of the hotel. However, the resorts amenities are just outside the door while remaining private and nestled in its own quiet area. The resorts pool has several grottos tucked away that were fun to explore and felt like a kid again when spelunking through the various pools and hot tubs within the labyrinth. The villas are a great choice for families rather than booking multiple rooms, or for anyone looking for a more "homelike' accommodation.
  • I played the new course fashioned after St. Andrews. It was in great shape and the staff was amazing. Both Tara and the other lady on the bev carts were always around when needed and the pro shop even gave me a free round! This course is by far one of the best in Orlando and I couldn't have been happier with my experience!
