SeaWorld, Orlando

4.2
#7 of 9,287 in Things to do in Florida
SeaWorld blends elements of a theme park and marine life zoo. The vast complex also includes a 7 hectare (17 acre) lagoon and a tropical forest. See the famous killer whales in an arena show, or get a dose of adrenaline with a ride on an upside-down (floorless) roller coaster. To combine the best of both worlds, visit the oceanic water-coaster, featuring an 18 m (60 ft) vertical drop. You can also take part in the interactive deep dives, allowing you to have a safe, hands-off contact with sharks, stingrays, and sea lions. For something a bit more relaxing, enjoy one of many live shows, featuring choreographed performances with lights, music, dolphins, and costumed acrobats. • We showed up at the park opening and the park was nearly empty so walked right in. Had to wear masks, which is fine. However, around noon, it became chaotic. Huge waits for every ride (almost 2 hours....  more »
  • The wife and I purchased season passes for our family as our children 4 and 6 are at the age that they may enjoy theme parks. Being Florida residents, season passes only made sense. On a Sunday we.....  more »
  • Arrived at 10am to be greeted by a massive line just to get inside the park. Wasted 30-40 minutes snaking thru that line. When inside I asked an employee if I can go straight to the gate with our...  more »

  • Such a beautiful place, perfect for family fun. Thoroughly enjoyed spending the day here. Tickets were easy to book, just make sure to read the terms and conditions. We went during Christmas time and the shows were simply amazing and so worth it. The decorations were the best comparing to other amusement parks in Orlando. I was glad to see it was a Certified Autism Center as well. The rides were amazing and well managed and the express pass was definitely worth it. Good food was available throughout the day. Make sure you get there in the morning to experience SeaWorld properly. Taking the advance pass, it is valid only 24 hours after purchase so make sure you buy it around 8am the day before you want to visit SeaWorld. Take time to plan the day out to make sure you see all the dolphin, whale, sea otters and sea lion shows.
  • I love SeaWorld so much! My husband visited for the first time in December of 2019 and he loved the experience! It’s a great location for families who want to do something on the less expensive side. You can always get great pricing on tickets when they go on sale. We paid a little over $100 for the two of us combined for admission and all day dining for each of us. The workers are so friendly. It’s also nice that it is more show based.
  • While other more big name theme parks have slowly turned to "4-D rides" consisting of looking at a screen in a moving chair, SeaWorld has in recent years put more of it's stake in coasters. As a result, SeaWorld has become one of the best theme parks in Orlando for a family of coaster seekers and show lovers, being stocked with both. If you're a family looking for a fun day with shows and rides, SeaWorld is the place for you.
  • We loved Sea World! We booked a dolphin encounter and took advantage of a discounted special, the trainers were terrific! Every trainer and staff member goes out of their way to educate guests about the animals, habitats, environment... The shows were really good!. We didn't ride any rides because it was very chilly that day, but we kept busy feeding the stingrays, sharks and sea lions!
  • Nice adventure park. Ride are absolutely fantastic, make sure all in your party are at least 54” high so that everyone can enjoy all the rides. Sesame Street park is suitable for kids. Lot wait periods if you reach the park early on. The food is for no reason costly and not much variety available. Good that we packed our own food. We visited in Christmas vacation period and we didn’t find any need for early queue access tickets and saved. Overall we enjoyed a lot!
