  • Not impressed unless cleaned up and grounds improved. Cons: It looks unkempt. We sat down in one of the benches and it smells. Saw homeless people sleeping in the benches and grounds. Dirty restroom. ...  more »
  • I would recommend this area for many reasons. First, you have an opportunity to see a beautiful area. The beauty of this park is relaxing sight especially after you had a long stressful day at work. I...  more »
  • The Lake is located in the heart of Orlando, which is not very frequented by tourists. Is as a central park but in Orlando. You have the option of renting a boat.

  • Such a great area in downtown Orlando for not only us locals but for visitors. Nice for a scenic stroll or run or to catch one of the many events that continually occur. Love the swans, the real ones! Pet friendly! Surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. Only negative is you must pay for parking so come prepared, but still worth it.
  • Such a beautiful lake! So many swans and geese and ducks and all kinds of birds flocks. Very clean and nicely done. Parking is not free you have to feed the meter. A great romantic walk or a healthy beautiful jog.
  • Everything about this park is 100% perfect to me. I love to see the fountain as the swan boats go around it and such. It's the best spot to hang out and play with family, friends, and a great spot to talk to someone close and dear to you.
  • I don't know what else I can say that has not already been said in all the other top reviews given for this wonderful park. So many events are held here... nearly every day there is something has happening. One year, a group of friends and I had our Thanksgiving dinner here, picnic style, and it was the most unique Thanksgiving I've ever experienced. The city's 4th of July fireworks are held here and usually draw a crowd around 100k each year. There's a local Farmer's Market held here every Sunday, and every October the park is at the very center of Orlando's Gay Pride event and parade which also draws in around 100k+. The lake itself is so very historic, and downtown is built around it. It has very old oaks and tall Palmetto palms. The lake itself is pretty shallow considering its size, but has a deep crater near the fountain... which is the highlight monument of Lake Eola. It was struck by lightning in 2011 and soon rebuilt and was made one hundred times more intriguing with its beautiful light shows and water shows that it puts on each night and throughout the year.
  • This is a great place to take a walk or a run, after work hours. Lots of people and it has a nice feel, but man during the day and late night, it is just FULL of people asking for money or just sitting around waiting for something. I do not like going there during those times. One day, while on a walk, found a tiny turtle on the path, before anyone squished it, we were able to get it off the path and on to the rocks by the water. (see photo posted).
