Where to stay in Orlando

Orlando is famous for its high concentration of budget, mid-range, and luxury hotels. The city caters to every tourist's needs, with accommodations ranging from inexpensive hostels and motels to five-star resorts and lavish private villas. Orlando is a busy city all year long, so plan ahead and book your stay well in advance. To avoid the crowds of the big theme parks, consider renting a vacation house or condo just outside the city, or explore one of the area's campgrounds or RV resorts.

  • My group was travelling back to Kissimmee from the east coast via the 192. Harmony is a relatively new housing area (off the 192) with some nice properties around the course. There is a decent store a...  more »

  • Got a great deal through Group golfer for $19 so obviously a great deal. The bag guy, pro shop staff and beverage cart girl were extremely friendly. The area is currently in a drought so the greens were extremely hard and bumpy, I'm not gonna hold that against them. They seem like they'll be great otherwise. Fairways and tee boxes were good and I loved the layout! I can't wait to go back when there's no drought!
  • The design of the course is fantastic with a great variety of holes and enough tee boxes for players of all skill levels. In general, the course is in good condition except for the greens. The greens were redone last year and they are very hard. So hard that high approach shots which would stop on most any other course will run out at least 20 to 30 feet. So you have to gauge for the run out even on flop shots. The greens are also lumpy. They are not growing consistently and/or need to be rolled. I would suggest a two putt maximum on the greens to decrease the frustration. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The only negative is the greens.
  • I'm part of a group of 16 who make an annual trip from OH to play Orlando-area courses for 1 week late February/ early March. This is the 2nd year we've play Harmony Preserve and we plan on returning (it's over an hour drive, but well worth it). Some truly scenic holes, abundant wildlife, a beautiful surrounding community and great staff. Plus the rates are reasonable. If you enjoy golf and haven't played here yet, you're missing out.
  • Great layout, friendly staff and very nice 19th hole for quenching your thirst.
  • Great food but more important is the amazing service.. The staff is great
