Disney Park / Activity Water / Amusement Park
Step back in time to Hollywood's 1930s and 1940s heydays at Disney's Hollywood Studios, a sprawling theme park spanning 55 hectares (135 acres). Wander the studio's vast network of streets and entertainment areas--blending into one giant film set--for a behind-the-scenes look at the world of movies. Watch live shows or go on backstage tours of a working studio to learn to the secrets behind some of film industry's biggest hits. You can also take an elevator ride through 13 floors of fear, or speed up to 96 kph (60 mph) on the twisting roller coaster taking you through a recreation of darkened streets of Los Angeles. This park attracts more than 10 million visitors each year, so expect crowds. For travelers who use our international travel planner, Orlando holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Disney's Hollywood Studios and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Great for pre-teens, but the lack of big rides mean it's a frustrating experience trying to balance your fast pass allowance with the other, less exciting attractions and shows. Tower of Terror is the...  more »
  • We are 70 years old. We enjoyed Disney's Hollywood. It was fun to be a kid again. Plus to go back in time through the AMC movie classics. We smiled the whole day. Only problem, it rains a lot in July ...  more »

  • From classic black and white movies to today's blockbusters the movies come to life at Hollywood Studios. March along with storm troopers and ride long to the gangsta flicks. This seemed to be the hottest of the Disney parks with the least amount of shade and most amount of paved surfaces. It offsets with so many inside air conditioned rides and shows. Pace yourself watch your hydration and try to duck inside when you feel the Florida Sun start to bake you.
  • This park is not a value at nearly $100 per ticket. There are simply just not enough rides or attractions for the price point. At nearly the same price point the Magic Kingdom offers over 40 rides/attractions compared to Hollywood Studios and its 10 rides/attractions. The only reason I was going to visit again was to attend Star Wars Weekends in 2016 only to find out that Disney has decided to cancel the event. Shame on Disney for fleecing its customers in this poor excuse for an amusement park. Revised my post after a visit this year and a better experience this time around. Still have major issues with a few things but the rides are few but are very good in quality. Star Wars land better be on point if they expect more than three stars from me.
  • We always have an awesome time at this park. The rule of thumb for all Disney parks is prepare, prepare, prepare. We knew we wanted to get our boys to the Jedi Training, so we arrived an hour early and got in line. We had chosen a variety of fast passes prior to arriving and knew we wanted to go to the most popular locations first. There are iconic rides here from Rock n Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, and the Movie Ride. It's only going to get better with Star Wars land and area expanding.
  • Love this place! Yes, it is pricey, but it is so worth it you are transformed into a new world! Of course the biggest vacation spot in the US has long wait lines, but every ride is worth it! This place makes you forget where you are, it's just a wonderful spot to reconnect with your family whom is consumed by technology and enter a world of wonder!
  • We had so much fun. There is lots to do and see. The shows were fantastic. The staff was very friendly. They were always asking us if they could help us with anything. The Storm Troopers are so cool! Great place!
